That superlative has since been lost to subdivision and resumed land, but even today, at approximately 12,000 square kilometres, it remains one of the most significant cattle stations in Australia. It sits 686 kilometres south of Darwin by road, on country that the Bilingara and Karranga peoples have occupied for tens of thousands of years.]]></description>
