What nobody anticipated was the spectacular rise and fall that would follow, a financial drama that included presidential visits, tennis royalty, and a bank literally dismantling a chairlift under court order. The story of Tamarack is less about skiing and more about American ambition, financial collapse, and the stubborn refusal of a mountain community to let their dream die.
