It's not subtle, and it's not symmetric, and once you've seen it you can't unsee it. The church has been standing on this small Deventer rise since around 1209, watching the IJssel slide past, and the people who grew up in its shadow have a story to explain those uneven towers - a story about two sisters, one knight, and a love that built a basilica.]]></description>
