But pull the camera back from Avenida Paulista and you see something more interesting: a coastal rainforest tucked behind sheer escarpments, a high-altitude pine-tree town that hosts a winter classical music festival, 15 million people of Italian descent, and the largest Japanese community anywhere outside Japan.]]></description>
