Rawlinna Station spreads across more than 10,000 square kilometres of the Nullarbor, an expanse of land bigger than some entire countries, all of it given over to sheep. This is the largest sheep station in Australia, out in the parched south-east corner of Western Australia where the Trans-Australian Railway runs ruler-straight along its boundary. To muster a flock here is to manage livestock across a wilderness, and the wilderness was never going to make it easy.]]></description>
