The name belongs to the Ede people, and in their language it means something close to "the mountain of the men." Chư Yang Sin looms over the Central Highlands of Vietnam at 2,442 meters — the highest peak in Đắk Lắk Province — and the national park that bears its name is one of the least-visited and least-studied protected areas in Southeast Asia.
