It was around 12:30 in the afternoon on March 18, 2015, and two gunmen had opened fire on tourists stepping off a bus at the Bardo National Museum compound in Tunis. The bitter irony of the timing -- lawmakers discussing how to prevent exactly this kind of attack while it unfolded next door -- captured the shock that followed. Twenty-two people would die, most of them European tourists who had come to see one of the Mediterranean's greatest collections of Roman mosaics. Around fifty more were injured. It was the deadliest terrorist attack in Tunisian history.]]></description>
