Here, in the curve of its own gulf, sits Agia Theodoti - a seaside hamlet barely twenty meters above the water, named for the church that has stood watch over the bay for roughly five hundred years. For most of its history you could only reach it on foot or by donkey. The asphalt road did not arrive until 1998.
